The Pioneer TS-W257D4 subwoofer is the D4 - Dual 4 Ohm, version of the Pioneer TS-W257D2, the dual 2 ohm version subwoofer available from Pioneer.

It features an aramid fiber cone, a radical surround with wide 3 layer, spring compression terminals with single sides, covered dual mass magnets and of course, as the title suggests, dual 4 ohm voice coils. Power maxes out at 1000 watts which is a good feature. The motor assembly is composed of dual mass magnets as most Pioneer products are. Pioneer TS-SW3041D

The Pioneer TS-SW301 has really been made using pioneering technology. It is the new product in their shallow subwoofers series range that are only 3.25 inches deep! This technology moves away from the spider-coil design that is prone to wear and tear and hence negative impact on performance with the passage of time.
