The Rockford Fosgate P3D412 is a Punch Series Stage 3 subwoofer from Rockford Fostage. It is designed to provide excellent bass reinforcement, totally trouble-free by using cone materials that are bullet proof and introducing a new advanced cooling technology. The peak handling of power for these subs is 1000 Watts with a frequency range of 27-250 Hz.
Cones that are made out of fiber deliver some great tones, especially low tones. They are made with Kelvar to add some serious spruce to the rich quality of sound. It has a huge 102-ounce magnet which keeps the cone moving under tight control. This will in turn improve the accuracy. The poly-ether-ester surround is extra tall and causes the cone excursion to increase and this translates to low tones that are quite full. The sensitivity is around 85 db.
